Insulation Jackets / thermal insulation  ISM

Mickenhagen insulating sleeves/heat insulation jackets type ISM are primarily used to reduce heat loss and therefore energy costs when heating machines and systems. This results in energy savings of between 30 and 40% as well as a noticeable improvement in the indoor climate. Occupational safety is also improved thanks to significantly lower surface temperatures in the operating and maintenance areas of the heaters. The heating-up time of machines and systems can also be reduced by up to 50% with appropriate insulation.

The flexible thermal insulation jackets were developed to reduce the energy costs of injection molding machines, heated tools and extrusion systems. The application temperatures range up to 1100°C.

Mickenhagen insulations are ideal for saving heating energy on all types of plastics processing machines and comparable applications (cylinder heat protection, flat heating, insulation hoods, insert insulation). The insulations meet the requirements of the Employee Protection Act for reducing the surface temperature.

 

Thanks to our individual production options, we can also offer you customized solutions for your insulation requirements. For saving heating energy, surface temperature reduction, more even mass temperature control, protection against contact (prevention of risk of injury or burns), elimination or reduction of draughts, simple self-assembly thanks to heat-resistant spring/ring, Velcro/floop or tension/strap fasteners.
